Schedule Your Mediation Clarity Session
Get a clear answer on whether mediation is right for you—and if it is, receive your exact flat-fee quote and our recommended program options for your divorce.

In this 60-minute session, you and your spouse will discover:
- Whether mediation is a realistic option given your specific situation and level of cooperation—we’ll tell you honestly if you’re good candidates or if another path makes more sense.
- The exact roadmap for your divorce, including what needs to happen, and in what order.
- Your precise flat-fee quote based on your case complexity, with no surprises and no hourly billing.
- What makes our process different from DIY divorce services, hourly mediators, and traditional litigation.
How the Meeting Works
This is a paid assessment session which both you and your spouse must attend. Here’s the simple three-step process:
- Step 1: Reserve your session by paying the $195 assessment fee below.
- Step 2: Complete your confidential intake form (you’ll be automatically redirected after payment).
- Step 3: Select your preferred meeting time from our calendar (available immediately after you submit your intake form).
Your $195 assessment fee ensures we can give you focused, personalized guidance. If you choose to move forward with mediation within seven days of your Clarity Session, this fee is credited toward your flat-fee investment.
Investment & Value
Our flat-fee mediation services typically range from $5,800 to $8,900 depending on whether or not you have children, the financial complexity of your situation, state requirements, and the level of cooperation or conflict between spouses.
Your exact flat fee will be determined during your Clarity Session based on your specific situation.
Here’s what that flat fee includes—everything you need from start to finish:
- Unlimited mediation sessions until your agreement is complete (not billed by the hour—you’ll never watch the clock or worry about runaway costs).
- Complete drafting of your Memorandum of Understanding, meeting all case-specific requirements.
- Comprehensive financial analysis and review, including retirement accounts, real estate, business interests, and complex asset division.
- Professional case management, operational support, and documentation throughout your process.
- Direct access to Divorce Mediator Joe Dillon, who brings 28 years of mediation experience, an MBA in Finance, and specialized training from Harvard, MIT, and Northwestern—plus additional experience as a divorce financial analyst.
- Emotional support from Divorce Coach Cheryl Dillon, who helps couples navigate the emotional challenges of ending a marriage.
Why a flat fee instead of hourly billing:
Most mediators and attorneys bill by the hour, which creates perverse incentives and unpredictable costs. You don’t know if your divorce will cost $5,000 or $100,000. Every email, every phone call, every revision adds to the bill.
Our flat-fee model means you know exactly what you’re investing before you begin. No surprises, no anxiety about the meter running, no incentive to rush through important decisions. You can take the time you need to get it right.
If you’re wondering whether mediation is worth the investment:
Consider the alternative costs.
- Retainer fees in the states we practice in range from $5,000 to $10,000 per spouse (and that’s not all you’ll pay).
- Traditional divorce litigation typically costs $25,000 to $40,000 per spouse (and often much more).
- Hourly mediation can run anywhere from $3,000 to $20,000+ with no way to predict the final cost.
- DIY divorce services seem cheap upfront but often result in agreements that don’t hold up or create problems later that cost far more to fix.
The real question isn’t whether mediation costs money—it’s whether you can afford not to get it right the first time.
Why This Structure?
This meeting isn’t a sales pitch. It’s a diagnostic. We’ve been doing this for nearly 20 years across six states with a 98% case resolution rate. We know what works and what doesn’t. This session gives you and your spouse the clarity and certainty you need to make the right decision for your family.
Your session includes consultation with Joe Dillon, MBA, with specialized training from Harvard Law School, MIT Sloan, and Northwestern University, and nearly three decades of mediation experience.
