About Equitable Mediation Services

Equitable Mediation Services is a New Jersey based mediation practice that serves clients in Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey. The practice was founded by Mr. Joseph Dillon as an alternative to the high cost and high stress that is often associated with attorney-driven divorces. We strongly feel mediation is a smarter way to divorce and we're here to help you every step of the way.

We believe our unique approach of offering divorce mediation in either the marital home or one of our six offices in NJ increases comfort and reduces stress in what is already an emotional and difficult time. When mediation participants are more relaxed and in a setting of their choosing better results can and will be achieved and that is the goal of every one of our sessions.

For mediation sessions conducted in the martial home all we ask is for a comfortable area to conduct our mediation sessions such as a kitchen table and that no children are present during our time together.
