8 Questions to Ask if You’re Ready for Divorce
As a NJ divorce mediator, I am constantly staying abreast of changes in the law and reading articles that I think can help my clients. Today I ran across an interesting article which discussed 8 questions one should ask themselves to see if you are really ready for divorce. When I got to reading it, it also sounded like an excellent primer for “are you ready to use mediation to handle your divorce” as the authors last question of “are you willing to take control of your life in a responsible and mature way?” really put the emphasis on exactly what we as mediation professionals do.
