Equitable Mediation is The Smartest Way to Divorce

Equitable-Mediation-New-Jersey When we first started Equitable Mediation, Bridgewater was our first New Jersey location. We too, lived in Somerset County, and wanted to do what we could for Bridgewater-area families to keep their divorce peaceful, child focused and cost-effective.

We watched as our friends and neighbors made the slog up and down 287 to go to their Big Pharma and Telecom jobs. Or got up at 5am to hop on the Raritan Valley Line to get themselves to Newark or New York City only to return at 8 or 9 each night.

All while their spouse worked just as hard inside the home, caring for the family, and keeping the home fires burning.

They did this because living in the Bridgewater-Bedminster area isn't cheap. And they wanted the best for their children and families.

But all those demands and pressures can take a toll on a marriage. And as the years went by, sadly, we saw many of our friends and neighbors getting divorced.

So we set out to provide Somerset County families with a better alternative to the high-cost, high-stress drama of an attorney-driven divorce process.

And in 2008, opened the Bridgewater office of Equitable Mediation. We wanted to use our local knowledge of the Bridgewater-Hillsborough corridor and apply it to creating divorce agreements that were customized to the unique needs of local families.

We are located at 1200 Route 22 East in Bridgewater in the Greymark at Bridgewater corporate office park.

We are just past the CentrePointe office complex so when you see the signs for CentrePointe, move over into the right lane as we are quickly approaching. If you see the Bridgewater Diner, you’ve gone too far.

From the north (Bedminster area):

Take Route 202 / 206 South to Route 287 South. Use the left two lanes to take Exit 17 to get back on Route 202 / 206 South. In approximately 1.4 miles, exit onto Route 22 East. Stay on Route 22 for approximately 2 miles and our building will be on your right.

From the south (Montgomery / Hillsborough area):

Take Route 206 North towards Somerville and turn right onto Bridge Street. Continue on Bridge Street and take the ramp for Route 22 East. Stay on Route 22 for approximately 1.2 miles and our building will be on your right.

From the east (Warren / Martinsville area):

Proceed to Route 22 West. Make a U-Turn at North Bridge Street / Grove Street, crossing over Route 22 to get on 22 East. Stay on Route 22 for approximately 1 mile and our building will be on your right.

From the west (Branchburg area):

You can take either Route 22 East or use Route 202 North to get to Route 22 East. Follow Route 22 East for approximately 1.8 miles from the Route 202 / Route 22 exchange. Our building will be on your right.
