Meet Divorce Coach Cheryl Dillon

Divorce Coach Cheryl Dillon
Cheryl works with divorce coaching clients throughout the United States as her practice is not limited to the clients of Equitable Mediation Services. Cheryl’s clients include individuals and couples who find themselves in all three phases of the divorce process:
- Contemplating a divorce
- Surviving a divorce
- Recovering from a divorce
During her own divorce, Cheryl experienced the same feelings of sadness, disappointment, anger and hopelessness that many of her clients experience today. But no matter how despondent or alone she felt throughout the process, Cheryl vowed not to let her divorce define her future and keep her mired in the past. She viewed her divorce as an opportunity to redefine her goals, priorities and desires and through much inner-work, self-reflection and help from a very caring and committed professional, learned how to thrive in the face of such a significant and life-altering event as divorce. It is this same philosophy that Cheryl brings to her clients as a divorce coach for Equitable Mediation Services.
Throughout her career, Cheryl has provided the guidance and direction necessary for both individuals and groups to help them create a vision for the future and develop a plan to achieve it. In her various professional roles, Cheryl has been a champion, guide and inquisitor, asking people the complex and thought-provoking questions necessary to reveal the essence of their true wants, needs and desires while getting to know them on a deeper level. Cheryl knows that it is only through active listening, a series of well-structured questions and conversations and goal-setting exercises can one begin to clarify a vision for the future and put together a plan to get there. Cheryl’s clients believe in the divorce coaching process and understand should they choose to accept her challenge to be open and honest and put in the hard work that is required for personal development and growth, it will lead to a new level of self-awareness and happiness that often seems elusive in the throes of a divorce.
Whether you are contemplating divorce, in the middle of a divorce or are already divorced, Cheryl knows coaching can and will be a tremendous help in clarifying your needs, prioritizing your wants and bringing order to the chaos in your life.
