About Divorce Mediation

Divorce Mediation is a non-adversarial process led by a caring and professionally trained mediator that helps couples just like you negotiate directly to resolve all issues necessary in order to peacefully end your marriage. The average divorce mediation takes approximately four to six, two-hour sessions and can be conducted in the privacy of the martial home or in one of our six NJ office locations.

The process is a mutual search for reasonable solutions that work for both of you in four major areas:

Neither partner can win at the expense of the other as resolutions must emerge from the mediation process with a settlement created and accepted by both of you.

These mediated agreements will then be drafted into a document called a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which will be used to create your Property Settlement Agreement that is filed along with your divorce. All you need to do is have an attorney review the MOU, draft the required documents and file your divorce with the court. It is a very simple and straightforward process that will save you time, money and unnecessary stress.

We know that once you learn more about the benefits of meditation you'll agree that it truly is the smarter way to divorce. If you have any questions about the mediation process and how divorce mediation can benefit you, please feel free to contact us and set up your free, no obligation consultation.
