About Us
Equitable Mediation Services is a New Jersey based divorce mediation practice that serves clients in Bergen, Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex, Essex, Morris, Monmouth and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey. The practice was founded by Mr. Joseph Dillon as an alternative to the high cost and high stress that is often associated with attorney-driven divorces. We strongly feel mediation is a smarter way to divorce and we’re here to help you every step of the way. We believe our unique approach of offering divorce mediation either via Telephone Mediation or in one of our many offices in Northern or Central NJ increases comfort and reduces stress in what is already an emotional and difficult time.
For mediation via Telephone, all we ask is that you speak to us from a location in which you are comfortable sharing sensitive information about your marriage and divorce and that no other parties (including children) are present during our time together on the phone. For those couples who may wish or need to be in a more structured and professional environment, mediation sessions can be conducted in one of many convenient offices in NJ:
