Divorce Mediation Role Plays November 6th

I am pleased to announce that I’ve been asked to participate in the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediator’s (NJAPM) divorce mediation training class for new mediators on November 6th! As an Accredited Professional Divorce Mediator in NJ, I know the value of continuing education and while in this case I am going to be the instructor instead of the student, I can tell you that no matter which role I play, I always learn something. Being a participant in an afternoon of role plays and witness first hand the kinds of questions and negotiation styles new mediators will attempt to use to resolve my fictitious divorce is always interesting as learning is a two way street. I believe that it is through my continued involvement in the NJAPM be it lecturing, taking classes or simply acting as a divorced individual that helps me stay on top of my profession and help the clients of Equitable Mediation Services peacefully and efficiently resolve the issues surrounding the divorce through mediation.

I’ll let you know how it goes!
